Goes for everything from Explorer windows to Nero, though thankfully not FireFox (to post here) or regedit (which I assume I'll need to fix it with).

- ton of other stuff distributed as executables only (no OS hooks, doubtful cause)

Latest versions of everything. All the shareware is still unregistered (my serials are in my email archive which I haven't imported yet).

Hopefully this is a known issue with one of the above. TIA...
