www.wcpe.org - a little station from sleepy Wake Forest is now one of the most listened-to nonprofits in the world; every streaming format is supported (even Ogg), as well as royalty free satellite feeds, etc.
www.wxyc.org - the archetypal indie, playing whatever the fuck they want out of their archetypal college town, chapel hill. they claim to have been the first radio station in the country to stream online, and who am I to dispute it?
www.wshafm.org - my first introduction to so-called black radio. Tavis alternates between "interesting" and "makes me bludgeon my head on the steering wheel," but that's half the fun.
www.wncu.org - a typical Jazz/NPR station at first glance, but they have program dedicated to underground hip-hop, Latin, and other stuff you wouldn't expect
www.wxdu.org - yet another indie/college station, but one I'm quite partial to for obvious reasons
