As GoFaster knows I'm also in need of some B4-intake-manifold work. However, while I'm a quick learner and unafraid of getting my hands dirty, I can't say I've got much mechanical skill; my knowledge of what the heck everything under the hood does is limited to what I've read in the forum/FAQ the last couple weeks, the poking around we did at the Woodbridge GTG, and watching Oli do his thing yesterday. I know I'm good at putting together furniture & such when I've got pics and a step-by-step, but at this point just swapping a fuse on the Variant by myself was a source of pride.

What I do have: a technical mindset, a digital camera, some webspace, and free time. If the community wants to help me out with labels & pointers, there's no reason we can't end up with a fully-illustrated guide a la GeWilli/Snowball.
